New Coastal Acidification Curriculum for Grades 6-12!
This hands-on approach combines chemistry, Legos, and real-world data to help students understand how Mid-Atlantic waters are changing and the impacts this may have on our local species. Designed by our regional partners from the Delaware, New Jersey and Virginia National Estuarine Research Reserves, Coastal Acidification in the Classroom is aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Virginia Standards of Learning, and will be featured during the Teachers on The Estuary (TOTE) workshops this summer.
